Have fun with this and don't be afraid....
Gothic Rooms have an air about them...using lots of dark colors in blue, red, and especially black.
It makes for an interesting pallet when designing each room and gets the creative juices flowing.
Let's face it...whether you are going to do it yourself or buy your decor items, you still have to be creative.
The bedroom is by far the darkest I think...room darkening shades and curtains on the windows and plush carpet on the floor.
Lots of candles for atmosphere and incense to add to the drama.
The walls will of course be dark...maybe red, that's always a good color for Gothic room design.
And mirrors...don't forget the mirrors! Heavy bed curtains even for a more dramatic effect.
The kitchen can be fun...all those knives you know...Uh...kidding aside...Tiles, black of course but tasteful. Lots of counter space for preparing meals.
I can see the plates & place settings being fun to pick out and of course the pots & pans.
Table & chairs...booth maybe?...or perhaps a center island with stools...that will take some thought.
The living room...well now...a fireplace for sure. Maybe a sunken center with a circular fireplace and couch all around. Sounds cool huh? Is that your style? Well, if not there are many more dark styles for your Gothic room design.
Here is my little bit of Gothic by my faux fireplace...My black roses...I love these roses...they have crystal water spots on them that look so real.
Do we have candles again?...Sure do! Lots & lots for atmosphere once again.
Gargoyles perched here and there and some interesting paintings and drawings. Pencil & charcoal sketches are nice touch in this kind of setting...even black ink add to the Gothic room design you desire.
Now believe it or not...black bathtub...yep! that's what I said...Black!...and boy does it look great!
Black sink & toilet too...fixtures silver...blends better I think but you decide.
